Danace

Her name is Danacé, not Danace, but DA doesn't like that in a title.

She's also drawn on very small paper, like Layne Roen. Again, I usually don't scan these tiny sketches, but I had little else, and for some reason these usually turn out even when all else is sucking.

Danacé is a character in my ongoing story Detritus. She's supposed to be a bit on the older side, so it's good if she looks that way. She's a full-blooded dragon, actually the sister of the Dragon King Brithchor, but she lives in the ruins of the ancient city Baptiste because her dragon ability to listen to the earth is particularly strong and its voice in that place draws her.

Because she listens to the earth, she knows a lot that most people don't. She also has a very strong ability to sense lineages, stronger than most dragons, so upon meeting Laik, she realizes secrets about him that he himself never suspected.
